Not all exhibition walls are the same – a comparison of the most important types

At MARTINCOLOR you will find various models of exhibition walls that can be used individually and flexibly as required. Our ZippWall exhibition walls are especially popular and particularly inexpensive.

ZippWall exhibition walls consist of an aluminum tube frame that can be plugged together and is fitted with feet. When the frame is fully assembled, an individually printed stretch textile covering is stretched over it and fixed to the wall base with a zipper. This ensures a wrinkle-free covering of the exhibition wall and a particularly quick set-up, which can also be carried out by inexperienced exhibitors. A suitable, small-format transport bag is available for a ZippWall exhibition wall and thus offers a low transport volume.

Another textile wall system are our Fabric PopUp walls, which can be set up ready for use in just a few seconds. These exhibition walls consist of a foldable scissor grid structure to which a printed textile covering is attached using a Velcro and fleece connection. The advertising graphics remain on the system structure both when the exhibition wall is unfolded and when it is dismantled. Although pop-up folding walls can be set up extremely quickly, our Easy Fabric and Media Fabric models are stable, hard-wearing exhibition systems that are very easy to use. They are therefore particularly suitable for users who frequently exhibit at smaller pop-up events and are looking for a mobile solution.

Foldable exhibition wall – the classic

Folding displays are also very popular with us. They also consist of a scissor grid structure. This can be set up quickly and is then fitted with magnetic rails that can be folded apart. The rollable graphic panels, which are attached to the system structure, are fitted with magnets on the back. Several graphic panels positioned next to each other create a large-format advertising graphic. Folding displays or foldable exhibition walls are available with a straight or curved system structure. Of course, these folding walls can also be positioned next to each other to create a foldable exhibition stand.

Folding displays adapt perfectly to different stand sizes and shapes – regardless of whether you have booked a corner stand, row stand or island stand. For transportation, the graphic panels are rolled up and stowed in the transport case, which also contains the folding structure. A special highlight is that the transport case of a folding display can also be used as a mobile exhibition counter. In addition to folding displays and ZippWalls, our movable walls and advertising walls are also very popular. They are often made of lightweight and robust aluminum profiles that allow presentation areas to be put together individually. Partition walls offer a high degree of flexibility and, in addition to use at trade fairs, are also suitable as partition walls for offices. They can easily be supplemented with accessories such as lighting, brochure holders or digital displays to create a coherent overall look. A particularly unique selling point of MARTINCOLOR is our in-house print shop – a central component of our quality awareness. This is where we produce all the graphics and textile coverings for our exhibition walls directly on site. For you as a customer, this means: no long delivery routes, no intermediate stops and no compromises in quality. Everything you see from us – from the first draft to the finished product – is produced from a single source and under one roof.

We use state-of-the-art technology in our in-house print shop. We have various printing processes at our disposal in order to optimally implement individual requirements. Especially in the field of sublimation printing, we work with the most innovative technology, which enables excellent results.

Textile printing for exhibition wall graphics

One of the centerpieces of our production is a mega-wide sublimation printing machine from Durst AG. This high-performance machine ensures razor-sharp prints, intense colors and smooth color gradients – directly on textiles. This produces vivid, detailed motifs that can be used to cover our large-format exhibition walls. We print on high-quality, foldable textiles. These can be folded into small formats and are therefore ideal for mobile exhibition systems. This is a decisive advantage, especially for transportable exhibition walls: low volume, easy handling and a professional look.

Another plus point: almost all textiles in our range are washable. This means that your prints remain in top condition even after frequent use. In addition, all fabrics are B1-certified and therefore meet the requirements for preventive fire protection at trade fairs and events.

In-house sewing & finishing

In our in-house sewing department, the printed textiles are processed immediately after production and tailored precisely to the respective requirements. Thanks to our well-established processes, finishing is carried out just in time, allowing us to reliably meet even tight deadlines. Depending on the intended use, we equip the fabrics with various technical details: For clamping frames, textile exhibition walls or LED exhibition stands, we sew on rubber piping (also known as flat piping), which tensions the fabric in the system without creases. Hollow seams are often used for hanging or banner solutions, through which aluminum tubes or weights, for example, can be guided. Custom-fit hems, reinforcements or individually placed seams are also part of our daily work. Close coordination between the printing and sewing departments ensures that every textile is processed precisely – accurate to the millimetre and ready for assembly.

Printing solutions for every application

In addition to sublimation printing, we use UV printing – ideal for rigid materials or applications where high durability is required. Latex printing completes our portfolio and offers an environmentally friendly and low-odour solution with vibrant colors and high detail.
Thanks to this range of printing technologies, we are able to respond flexibly to a wide variety of requirements. The advantages of our in-house production are obvious: you benefit from short coordination channels, fast response times and maximum control over every production step.
