Luminous fire

The extraordinary Frankfurt Westhafen Tower, located on the banks of the Maiufer, is a stop at the well-known NACHT DER MUSEEN.
MARTINCOLOR supports the Frankfurt artist Jürgen Wiesner in the implementation of a banner installation with a large number of textile banner prints. The high-resolution sublimation prints were printed on a special decorative material and then assembled in the in-house sewing department of MARTINCOLOR. In the NIGHT the 28th floor of the Westhafentowers, from which one has a magnificent 360 degree view of Frankfurt, is staged with the picture installation "Leuchtfeuer". Wiesner's works show a single motif, a lake that was photographed in the last fifteen minutes of passing light.

22 panels create a course created from the contrast between light and shadow, which expands into a spatial installation with the sounds composed by Fritz Hauser.
